When you hear BRUNCH, does Sunday Funday come to mind?
But why limit your breakfast-lunch intake to one day a week…
You deserve a donut! Or 7… But really, breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
If you are a night owl like me, your breakfast is closer to the lunch hour.
So technically I brunch everyday?
Where does one go…
Selecting a brunch spot all depends on atmosphere and menu selections.
Be mindful of dedicated event rooms and reservation policies when planning special occasions or a casual day of rallying.
While there are endless restaurants and food trucks serving up smiles, I’ve listed a few notable brunch locations below.
Spots to consider…
$$ On Swann – Tampa, FL
It’s all about those starters! On Swann has an array of share boards perfect for groups.
I would highly recommend the Mediterranean x Butcher board.
With a selection of beer and mimosas, keep the party going at this Tampa joint.
$$ White Wolf Cafe – Orlando, FL
Orange, pineapple, cranberry, oh my! White Wolf is known for their refreshing mimosas.
Highly recommend the cinnamon buns. Get one to go, you won’t regret it.
This brunch spot is in Ivanhoe near bars, breweries, and other brunch staples like The Hammered Lamb and Santiago’s Bodega. Let the brunch crawl begin.
$$ Cassis – Saint Petersburg, FL
Cassis is in the heart of downtown St. Pete, with beautiful views & shops nearby.
You can’t go to a french restaurant and not get the french toast? This brioche french toast and bellini will not disappoint. Crispy and covered in strawberries, this toast pairs perfectly with this bubbly. I’ll toast to that.
$$$ Blue Heaven – Key West, FL
Tucked away in the heart of the Bahama Village, Blue Heaven is the best known breakfast place on the island of Key West. This southernmost secret spot sits beneath tree tops, is adorned with art, surrounded by live music and the local chickens.
Highly recommend the lobster benedict, this pairs nicely with the hibiscus mimosa.
Eggs aren’t your thing? Their pancakes and waffles are heavenly as well.
$$$ The Front Porch – South Beach Miami, FL
Are you noticing a pattern yet? I would like to think that I am open minded to trying new things.
French toast however, is a breakfast staple. The Front Porch executes this perfectly.
Containing a unique orange zest and baked on challah…this french toast is like no other!! Topped with powdered sugar and cinnamon, my sweet tooth is thanking me.
Sitting on Ocean Drive, this brunch spot is in the heart of the 305.
$$$ Santiago’s Bodega – Orlando, FL
Indulge in a buffet of crab legs, omelets, breakfast meats, and bottomless mimosas.
Expect to pay a pretty penny, but your stomach will thank you. #TreatYoSelf
With multiple locations near Ivanhoe and Altamonte Springs, locals flock to Santiago’s for their classic tapas menu.
With rich variety on the menu, a brunch at Bodega will please everyone in your party.
Be sure to check out their white and red sangria specials during Happy Hour.
Perfect for sharing, this brunch spot is favored by groups wanting to try the entire menu.
Going to brunch with someone special? Impress your date with a delicious date.
$ Peach Valley – Lake Mary, FL
Wakin’ up too early, maybe we could sleep in…
Cannot go wrong with the Banana Pancakes at Peach Valley. But what they are really known for are their famous apple fritters with yogurt. Order a large, you will eat every last drop trust me. If you sign up for their E-club online you get a free 1/2 order.
Their mimosas are good, but I prefer their peach bellinis. They are also famous for their peach & onion pepper sauce. You can even buy a bottle of it to take home.
$ Stubborn Mule – Orlando, FL
If you’ve stumbled your way into the Stubborn Mule you have hit the jack pot.
With $12 unlimted mimosas, you are served by the bottle with a variety of mixers. Their Genius Bloody Mary is also another fan favorite, at $5. #BallinOnABudget
Highly recommend The Frenchman $12, a tribute to cinnamon toast crunch with berries, powdered sugar, and maple-pepper bacon.
If that’s not enough already, consider butter poached shrimps or smoked gouda grits.
And then of course their signature moscow mules are a must try.
$ Keke’s – Winter Park, FL
Within a cluster of iconic brunch restaurants, Keke’s can hold its own among Briar Patch, Another Broken Egg, The Coop, Dexter’s, and many more on Park Ave.
This family friendly restaurant does not serve alcohol, and is easy on the wallet.
The Florida Pancakes and Stuffed French Toast are amazing.
Served beautifully covered in fruit, these selections are almost too pretty to eat.
